Holland College is the provincial community college for the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island (PEI). It is named after British Army engineer and surveyor Captain Samuel Holland. It was formed by the Government of Prince Edward Island in 1969 as a result of an education reform policy undertaken as part of the Prince Edward Island Comprehensive Development Plan which saw the closure of the province’s two post-secondary institutions structured on religious lines, St. Dunstan’s University and Prince of Wales College, and the creation of the non-denominational University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) and Holland College.

The Lambton College Foundation was founded in 1994. With our dedicated staff and Board of Directors, we’ve been supporting Lambton College in its mission of student and community success ever since.
By spring convocation in June 2010, the college had reached nearly 50,000 alumni. It also awarded its first-ever Durham College honorary credential to dental surgeon Dr. Peter Zakarow, acknowledging his dedication to community involvement and DC, where he served as college governor (starting in 1982) and chair of the Board of Governors (1985-1987).
Canadore College is required to disclose personal information such as Ontario Education Numbers, student characteristics and educational outcomes to the Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development under s. 15 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter M.19, as amended.
Mohawk College was established during the formation of Ontario’s college system in 1966. The school was founded in 1967 as part of a provincial initiative to create many such institutions to provide career-oriented advanced diploma, diploma, and certificate courses, as well as continuing education programs to Ontario communities.
